Operation Code Hampton Roads

Schedule: Third Thursday of each month (rotates between 1701 & ODU Innovation Center)

Operation Code is a nonprofit devoted to helping the military community learn software development, enter the tech industry, and code the future! We’re looking to bring together aspiring developers of all levels and backgrounds, from learning-from-scratch to senior engineers, to help each other learn more about coding and building great things.

Code4HR Civic Hack Night

Schedule: Every other Wednesday (in-between weeks are virtual meetups)

Join other developers, designers, data geeks, civic leaders, organizers, and idea-makers who volunteer to help the 7 Cities’ government and civic orgs adopt open web technologies. Our weekly meetings are casual, fun “civic hack nights” where we try to solve local civic problems through technology. We’re always working on multiple projects at once, so you’re welcome to sit back and “watch the magical chaos” of creation, or dive in with something that interests you.
