Yes! We have two conference rooms that are available on an hourly basis. Each one is equipped with a 55-inch TV, Google Chromecast, Apple TV, and video conferencing capabilities. We also have a 1,500-square-foot multi-purpose space available for various events. Contact us for details.

Nope. Not at this time. As local needs arise, we may be open to dedicated office space in the future, so please contact us to let us know that is something you’re interested in.

Non-Members

Non-members can work at 1701 for a day by purchasing at day pass for $30.

Member Guests

Members may have guests in the space Monday through Friday during normal business hours (8am-6pm). Members’ guests may stop by to say hi or meet for up to an hour without using a guest pass. If a member’s guest will be in the space for more than an hour, the member should use or purchase a $20 guest pass for their guest.

If a member has more than one guest in 1701, the member should reserve a conference room to meet with their guests. Guest passes are not required if the member and their guests are meeting in a conference room.

Guests are not allowed at 1701 after hours or on weekends unless a staff member is present. If you need to meet with a guest at 1701 after hours or over the weekend, please coordinate with 1701 staff. Conference rooms or common areas may be reserved at the after-hours rate and a staff member can be present to accommodate your meeting.

Members are responsible for making sure their guests are familiar with 1701’s policies, are respectful and considerate of other members, and for all of their guests’ actions while they are at 1701.

The up-and-coming ViBe Creative District is home to lots of local businesses. Right across the street, we’ve got Commune and Esoteric — two delicious restaurants — and Chesapeake Bay Distillery. We’re also pretty close to Bad Ass Coffee, Java Surf, Croc’s EcoBistro, Zoe’s, Beach Bully, and various retail establishments. Not to mention, we’re just three blocks from the ocean!

We have incredibly fast wifi, black & white and color printers, tables, chairs, couches, TVs equipped with Chromecast & Apple TVs, conference rooms that can accommodate 8-10 people, a kitchen with a fridge full of cold beverages, flat work surfaces, couches and comfy chairs. We also have a space that seats 18-30 people for meetings or training with a projector and 126″ screen. And we have a ping pong table, beach cruisers you can borrow to cruise up to the boardwalk, outdoor workspace, private phone booths, and dedicated desk space!

If you are a full-time dedicated desk member, you’re welcome to leave your inventory, equipment, and computer at 1701. Learn more about our memberships.

Everyone is welcome to come work for the day! We offer drop-in days for $30 for non-members. Some of our events are also free to the public.
